Overview
The Schools and Colleges of the University of Rheinsberg run a series of seminars and workshops through the year, some of which are for a generalist audience and some of which relate to the more specialist interests of the school's research centres. The university provides leadership and content expertise for a wide variety of seminars and workshops each year. Utilizing the expertise of our faculty and its resources, program topics are developed based on learner needs. These workshops are open to faculty, students and University affiliates. The University of Rheinsberg system of seminars and workshops are a main means by which students and faculty exchange ideas and develop an interdisciplinary context for their work. In this tradition, the various schools and colleges have an on-going weekly seminar series. Active participation is required of all PhD students. In addition, all faculty participates regularly in seminars or workshops. In this vein, each PhD student will be required to participate regularly in one such workshop related to his or her major area of concentration. Seminars are a valuable means of learning skills of critical analysis and research design as well as creating opportunities to interact closely with faculty from both within and outside the University.

The Online Learning Workshop is provided several times each year. Admitted students and PhD students are invited to attend. The content has been arranged to facilitate success in online programs and highlight the support of the various schools and colleges and the University in the educational journey. Not only does Rheinsberg prepare its students with cutting-edge degree programs but it also conducts seminars to expose the students to current issues and technologies in development. Agriculture and tourism are among the top and fast-growing industries globally, making agritourism a natural industry. Farmers and ranchers involved in agritourism activities are exposed to business risk, financial and legal liabilities. .
Workshop participants will learn about financial and legal risks; best management practices; the steps to becoming a certified agritourism operation; risk diversification strategies; and the need for liability insurance. The workshop features interactive dialogue between agritourism experts, legal and insurance advisers. Participants will receive a notebook of resources. Who should attend?
