Welcome to the University of Rheinsberg web site. As the president of the University, I hope that the information you find here will be helpful and that you'll develop an appreciation for what Rheinsberg University has to offer students.
As you embark on your educational journey, you'll find numerous choices since we live in a nation rich with excellent colleges and universities. When weighing your options you likely will ask yourself several questions. Rheinsberg is a student-centered university. Students expand their interests and perspectives. We combine the academic distinction and personal attention of a smaller, private college and the choices and variety of a comprehensive university. We are committed to the notion that outstanding faculty scholarship and inspired teaching can and should go together. Students learn a great deal here. But the most important knowledge they will acquire is the knowledge of how to learn, which will help them to continue their education for the rest of their lives. Take the initiative to learn at Rheinsberg, learn from the initiatives of others, and share knowledge with the world beyond our doors Faith in God - Believing that God has sustained the University we will act, trust and pray with God as the most vital force for our future. People - are at the heart of the University. The satisfaction and well-being of students, faculty, staff, parents, and churches will be a concern to all. Continuous Improvement - every area of campus will be expected to improve on a continuing basis. University Research
Every year, the Office of Vice President presents awards of excellence to the University Research Professors for the University Research Professorship Awards to at least 85 members of our faculty who have demonstrated excellence in research and creative work that addresses scientific, social, cultural, economic and health challenges in our region and around the world.

Investing in Student Success
Rheinsberg's students are graduating faster and with less student debt. We’re making this possible by recruiting more high-performing transfer students and by enhancing student-support programs such as advising, counseling and career services. We’re also harnessing the power of big data to identify early warning indicators that a student is struggling academically or socially.
An important part of educational growth for student success in the real world is making sure students have the career guidance, experience, and mentorship before they enter the workforce.
We are also making progress in another measure of student success: preparing students for life after college. Thanks to our focus on experiential education, our graduates are among the most sought after by industry recruiters, notably in the technology sector.
At Rheinsberg, we create opportunities for alumni to help shape our students’ early experiences through various ways.
We have also made significant strides in reducing the completion gap between minority and non-minority students through targeted financial aid and innovative programs that help students overcome cultural, class and social barriers to success in higher education.
